On 09 August South Africa celebrated women’s day and house music vocalist Msaki dedicated this poem to the powerful females of Mzansi.
Msaki posted the video which is a year old, she recorded it last year at a gig in Braamfontein, Joburg.
“I dedicate this reading of a poem written by @siphokazi_j to the power that is woman , in all its forms. I read this at a show called “At Stake and other love songs” in lament over GBV, that we put on at the end of last year at the @untitledbasement . Today we remember the joy over the pain” She says.
