Two Cities, One Movement
This November, Africa Is Not a Jungle makes its highly anticipated return with two unforgettable editions headlined by global music icon Black Coffee. The festival kicks off in Durban on 8 November and concludes in Johannesburg on 29 November, bringing together music, culture, and community with a distinctly African voice.
A Cultural Platform Beyond Music
Founded to challenge narratives about Africa, Africa Is Not a Jungle has grown into more than just a music festival. It is a cultural platform that amplifies the creativity, innovation, and global influence of South African and African sounds. Each edition celebrates community and showcases the vibrancy of African artistry to the world.
Visibility and Global Stages
At its core, the movement is about visibility—creating opportunities for African artists to be seen and celebrated both locally and internationally. With world-class production, dynamic performances, and an atmosphere of unity, Africa Is Not a Jungle continues to place African talent at the forefront of the global stage.
Partnership with the Black Coffee Foundation
This year, the festival strengthens its social impact by partnering with the Black Coffee Foundation. For every ticket purchased, R20 will be donated to the Foundation, directly supporting under-resourced communities and empowering sustainable projects in education, the arts, and development. Fans attending will not only experience world-class music but also contribute to a larger movement of change.
Durban Edition: 8 November
With its rich cultural heritage and thriving music scene, Durban will host the first edition on 8 November. The city’s vibrancy makes it the perfect stage for a celebration rooted in community and sound. Early bird tickets are already selling fast.
Johannesburg Edition: 29 November
On 29 November, Johannesburg will host a Black Coffee Benefit Concert, capturing the essence of African creativity and placing it firmly on the global map. This edition promises an electrifying showcase of artistry, energy, and purpose.
