Apple Music has launched the highly anticipated Replay ’25 experience, delivering a more personalized and insightful reflection of each listener’s year in music. Now available directly in the Apple Music app, Replay ’25 offers deeper discovery insights that reveal how users’ tastes have evolved—or remained true—throughout 2025.
The feature gives listeners a detailed breakdown of their musical habits, highlighting:
• Discovery – the new artists they fell in love with
• Loyalty – the acts they’ve consistently supported
• Comebacks – artists who returned to rotation after time away
Replay ’25 also retains fan-favourite metrics such as total minutes listened, total artists played, longest artist streak, and preferred genres. Users can explore how their favourite artist, album, and song shaped their year with vibrant new visuals and interactive data storytelling.
Replay ’25 for Artists: Powerful New Insights
In addition to elevating the fan experience, Apple Music has upgraded Replay for artists, offering powerful, shareable insights that showcase global reach and impact.
New artist-facing metrics include:
• Listenership growth
• Year-over-year performance summaries
These features build on existing data sets such as total listeners, countries and cities reached, minutes streamed, top songs, Shazam performance, radio spins, chart positions, and playlist placements. Replay ’25 gives artists and their teams a clearer lens into how their work resonated across the world in 2025.
Replay All Time and Monthly Replay
Listeners can also dive into their monthly music highlights, gaining a snapshot of what defined each moment of their year. Replay All Time allows users to revisit their most-played songs since joining Apple Music, offering a long-term view of their personal soundtrack.
Both monthly and yearly dashboards, along with Replay All Time playlists, are available directly from the Home tab.
The Replay Gallery at Miami Art Week
To celebrate Replay ’25, Apple Music has unveiled The Replay Gallery at Miami Art Week—an immersive exhibition featuring striking multi-format artworks inspired by the year’s standout musical moments. The exhibition showcases works by Angel Otero, Calida Rawles, Devon Turnbull, Gabriel Moses, Henry Taylor, Jeremy Deller, Sara Sadik, and Tommy Malekoff.
The installation explores themes of digital identity, human connection, and the evolving relationship between sound and culture, inviting guests into a sensory experience that blends art and listening.
Apple Music’s 2025 Year-End Charts
As the year wraps up, Apple Music has revealed its comprehensive suite of 2025 year-end charts, celebrating the songs, artists, and albums that defined global listening across streaming, Shazam activity, radio play, lyric engagement, and more.
This year’s uncontested global anthem is ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “APT.”, which topped multiple charts including Top Songs of 2025: Global, Top 100: Shazam, Top 100: Global Radio, and Top 100: Lyrics.
Gracie Abrams and Alex Warren earned their first year-end Top 10 hits with “That’s So True” (No. 6) and “Ordinary” (No. 7) respectively. Morgan Wallen dominated the charts with 12 entries, while Apple Music’s 2025 Artist of the Year, Tyler, The Creator, secured his first Top Songs placement with “Sticky (feat. Sexyy Red, GloRilla & Lil Wayne)” at No. 42.
Africa Continues Its Global Rise
African music enjoyed another landmark year, with artists across the continent leading streaming charts and influencing global culture. Major releases from Burna Boy, Asake, Davido, Kabza De Small, Black Sherif, DJ Maphorisa, MOLIY and others shaped the soundscape of 2025.
From Afrobeats and Amapiano to Bongo Flava and East African pop, Apple Music captured the continent’s heartbeat with artists like Rema, Ayra Starr, Tyla, Stonebwoy, Joshua Baraka and Phina extending Africa’s influence across global stages.
