Renowned South African DJ and producer Shimza unveils his highly anticipated EP, “Dreaming”, a heartfelt tribute to the country’s vibrant dance scene.
This 4-track masterpiece, released exclusively on Shimza’s own label KUNYE, captures the essence of the South African summer, blending his signature sound with an exciting collaboration of local talents.
“Dreaming” boasts an all-star South African lineup featuring Amapiano heavyweight Kabza De Small, fellow Afro-Tech producers Vitoto and Jnr SA, alongside both rising star Zano and multi-award-winning R&B soul singer-songwriter Manana.
“This is a very special and personal EP to me,”
says Shimza.
“It represents where I come from, featuring a powerful mix of established and emerging South African talent, all on my own label Kunye, the platform we created to nurture this kind of creativity. Dreaming embodies the past, present, and future of South African electronic music.”
