MÖRDA has returned with his third solo offering, Asante III—a spiritual, dance-infused journey that fuses gospel, African melodies, and three-step rhythms into one powerful statement of artistic intent.
A Journey of Spirit and Sound
Building on the foundations laid by Asante I and Asante II, Asante III marks the climax of a trilogy. Where the first two albums introduced and deepened MÖRDA’s new creative era, this latest release is a fearless, soul-baring ritual of sound meant to uplift, liberate, and inspire.
The Anthem: ‘Glory’
Leading the charge is the focus single Glory, a soaring anthem featuring Nomfundo Moh and Nontokozo Mkhize. Powered by pulsing basslines and haunting harmonies, the track offers a sunrise of sound—a moment of healing, resistance, and praise.

Collaboration With Purpose
Each track on Asante III is anchored by intention. Whether it’s the introspective Home featuring Brenden Praise and Artwork Sounds, or the fiery The Massacre with Nqo, every collaboration is carefully selected to build on the album’s themes of identity, joy, and freedom. Contributors include Thakzin, Dr Moruti, Suffocate SA, Nokwazi, Afrikan Roots, and more.
A Vision Beyond the Music
The album was produced entirely in MÖRDA’s own studio, a space he’s turned into a sanctuary for sonic experimentation. Now, he’s taking that vision to the stage with Vault by MÖRDA—an upcoming live event series designed to bring this rich, immersive world to life.
