Siphosenkosi Gumede (born November 18, 2003), known professionally as Dr Dope, hails from Klaarwater, Pinetown. Renowned for his innovative blend of Gqom, Dance, and Afro-electronic sounds, he has cultivated a sonic identity defined by broken 3-step rhythms, layered percussion, and melodic trumpet lines.
