A Full-Circle Moment
Young Stunna has released his second album, Busisiwe, marking five years since the arrival of his breakthrough debut, Notumato.
Released on 21 October 2026, the 16-track project represents a new chapter for the Amapiano star, whose distinctive vocals have helped establish him as one of South Africa’s most recognisable musical voices.
“Umlenze” leads the album as its focus single, while the release also brings listeners “Asivuke”.
Five Years in the Making
For Young Stunna, the time between his debut and its follow-up was about giving the music room to develop. Speaking about the process, he said emotional connection remained his priority.
“This album took five years because we never wanted to rush the process,” says Young Stunna. “The goal was never to chase numbers. It was about making music that touches people and makes them feel something positive. That’s why I started making music in the first place.”
That approach shaped Busisiwe, with the singer focusing on songs that reflect his growth as an artist and storyteller.

Celebrating the Success of ‘Notumato’
The new release follows a special plaque presentation by Sony Music Africa, Piano Hub and Lawk Communications, recognising the commercial achievements of Young Stunna’s debut era.
