Drake pops in to support Black Coffee’s set at Hï Ibiza

South African social media is buzzing right now after the international rap superstar Drake came to support Black Coffee’s set at Hï Ibiza last night, which is voted the best nightclub in the world.

Black Coffee played Drake’s song and the Canadian star joined him on stage and the pair shared some handshakes filled with hugs and laughter.

Black Coffee recently made headlines after assuming his rightful position on Hï Ibiza’s decorated Saturday night throne in 2022.

Black Coffee holds the prestigious title of being the first ever Hï Ibiza resident and that reign is set to continue. Year upon year, the South African superstar‘s stature has grown with his spellbinding, self-named residency.

Black Coffee whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo is a previous SAMA winner of Male Artist of the Year in 2019 and has conquered dance floors across continents. Since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2005, Black Coffee has reached several milestones including his Africa Rising live DVD recorded at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, a residency at Ibiza, performance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and recording with Mi Casa, David Guetta and Usher. His biggest achievement this year was winning a Grammy.
