Thee Gobbs fell in love with the concept of being a DJ and producer while still in high school. By the time he was in standard 7 (grade 9) he had already made up his mind that he wanted to study sound engineering, Fuelled by passion and dedication. After High School he went on to study and graduate with a sound engineering diploma and landed a job at Jazzworx Studios. He has been the sound engineer for the likes of Lira, Teargas, JR just to name but a few and later he decided to drop his own music and he has been doing so for over a decade. Thee Gobbs is currently a resident DJ on 5FM’s House Connect’s show and he just dropped a brand new song titled #Sengwayo. On this interview, he shares his life journey and drops some dope insights.
