Major League DJZ have signed a major deal with Atlantic records that will span across the UK and US. Tuesday 15th March saw the identical twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mebere ink at deal at the London office.
The Major League DJZ have been credited with bringing the sound of amapiano music ‘to the world’ . As pioneers of the African sound, this deal will see them conquer the global scene with their unique genre-mashing, diverse and distinctive DJ sets.
Announcing the signing on their socials the boys explain,
“ ‘Piano to the world’ was a phrase the we believed in so much that it changed our lives. This is just the beginning, There’s still so much work to do, the door stays open for the kids coming after us. Black child your dreams are valid. Let’s dream as a nation because no the doors are wide open &the world is ready to embrace Africa”.
