“Atmos Wav I” emerged from a spontaneous and joyful creative session between Mpho.Wav and Atmos Blaq, capturing an essence of pure musical euphoria.
The track has quickly become a favorite among notable figures in the house music industry, including Sun-EL Musician, Kid Fonque, Darque, Citizen Deep, and Malumz On Decks. Since its release, the single has been making waves, igniting dance floors and resonating through the streets.
Adding to the excitement, Mpho.Wav is set to release his next single, “Bilkeuy,” on September 20th. This track promises to be a unique blend of sound and culture, featuring Nyamal Nyang, whose vocals in Nuer—a language spoken in the Upper Nile region of South Sudan—bring a Pan-African resonance to the song.

Born Mpho Mohlong, Mpho.Wav’s musical journey began in the township of Orange Farms, with formative years spent in the Vaal Triangle.
His passion for music ignited at the age of 14, beginning as a drummer and pianist in church. He quickly evolved into a sought-after session musician, working with renowned Smooth Jazz Fusion and Gospel artists before diving into music production.
Mpho.Wav’s talent flourished as he joined the El World Music collective (now Africa To The World Agency), contributing to celebrated collaborations with Msaki, Nobuhle, Azana, Kenza, Sun-EL Musician, and Mörda, among others.
