The single is set to drop on August 8, 2025, and reimagines the original hit Indlela, which has already amassed over 1 million YouTube views, 1.5 million YouTube Music plays, and is closing in on 1 million Spotify streams.

About Da Mabusa
From choir beginnings to multi-platinum success
Multi-platinum selling artist Johan Sifiso Sithebe, known professionally as Da Mabusa, is a South African singer, record label owner, and music composer from Kwamhlanga, Mpumalanga. His music journey began in 2007 as part of a local choir, and in 2019, he formed his own choir, sharpening his skills as a musician and entrepreneur.
Breakthrough and chart dominance
Da Mabusa’s breakthrough came in 2022 with his debut single Umama Owangizalayo, which achieved multi-platinum sales. He followed this with the Izipho EP, the single Syeke, and later launched his own record label. His releases Umama Owangizalayo 2.0 Piano Remix and Ithuba both achieved platinum sales under his independent label.
Collaborations and international reach
Over the years, Da Mabusa has collaborated with celebrated artists such as Shebeshxt, Paige & Sdala B, Lungelo Hlongwane, and Eemoh, and has worked with international names including Rayvanny and Nutty O. He has shared stages with Makhadzi, Master KG, and Young Stunna.
