Amapiano Royalty Takes the Main Stage

The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival Powered by LottoStar has announced that two of Amapiano’s brightest stars, Kelvin Momo and Zee Nxumalo, will electrify the Saturday stage at this year’s event. Taking place on 20 and 21 September at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, the festival is set to be a showcase of culture, music, and cuisine on a global scale.

Kelvin Momo with Babalwa M and a Live Band

Known as the “soulful king of Amapiano” and boasting nearly 2 million Spotify monthly listeners, Kelvin Momo will deliver one of the festival’s most anticipated performances. His set will feature a live band alongside award-winning vocalist Babalwa M, promising an immersive experience that blends groove, soul, and pure Amapiano magic.

Zee Nxumalo Brings Her Infectious Energy

Joining Momo is multi-platinum singer-songwriter Zee Nxumalo, who continues to make waves as one of the most exciting new voices in South Africa’s music scene. With her dynamic stage presence and genre-blending style, Nxumalo is expected to light up the festival crowd with an unforgettable set.

Sharing the Stage with Global and Local Giants

Kelvin Momo and Zee Nxumalo will perform alongside an impressive line-up that includes Don Toliver, Kwesta, and Inkabi Zezwe (Big Zulu & Sjava). Together, these artists embody the festival’s vision of blending local and international sounds for a cultural experience like no other.

A Feast Beyond the Music

While the beats set the rhythm, the Proudly South African Delicious Food Mile keeps festivalgoers fuelled with everything from kotas and gourmet burgers to baos, poke bowls, dumplings, and waffles. It’s a culinary journey across South Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas—designed for sampling, savouring, and sharing.

Empowering Food Entrepreneurs

The festival also highlights entrepreneurship through the Delicious Festival Trader Academy Powered by FoodBev SETA. This year, 11 graduates from the programme will showcase their food businesses at the festival, a milestone celebrated by both Jean Huddy, Head of Strategy and SMME Support at the Academy, and FoodBev SETA CEO, Nokuthula Selamolela, who called it a win for South Africa’s inclusive food economy.
