Piano People is bringing its flagship outdoor festival to Johannesburg this November, with Uncle Waffles, Focalistic, Dlala Thukzin and Oscar Mbo among the artists confirmed for its first edition in the city.

Taking place on Saturday, 28 November 2026, at Old Park Station in Newtown, the event is billed as Piano People At The Station. Its Johannesburg debut brings together Amapiano and house music talent for a programme that includes solo performances and back-to-back DJ sets.

A key pairing on the bill is Kelvin Momo B2B Njelic, bringing the two artists together behind the decks. Nkulee501 B2B Sxova adds another collaborative set to a line-up that also features 031 Choppa, Anchorbee, Royal Musiq, Soul Nativez, Success SA and Uncool MC. Angekebabuye_MC will host the event.

The Johannesburg edition follows Piano People’s expansion internationally, with Resident Advisor highlighting the event in its selection of festivals to watch this November. The publication describes the gathering as the arrival of the brand’s flagship outdoor festival in Johannesburg, following editions in New York and Cape Town.

For local audiences, the programme offers a chance to experience several corners of South African dance music in one setting. The inclusion of Dlala Thukzin and Oscar Mbo alongside the Amapiano-focused bill broadens the musical conversation, while the back-to-back sets give collaboration a prominent place in the programme.

Old Park Station provides the backdrop, placing the gathering in Newtown rather than a conventional club venue. According to promoter Anything Goes, the event is scheduled to run from 4pm until 2am, taking the celebration from late afternoon into the following morning.

Tickets and table bookings are available through Howler. Organisers have also listed park-and-ride options from Montecasino, Nelson Mandela Square, Gold Reef City Casino and Mall of Africa, which can be added to festival bookings.
