Warner Music Africa (WMA) and Hunter’s have teamed up to launch the Warner Music Sound Tour, a digital experience designed to celebrate the vibrant energy of African music and culture.
This interactive journey kicks off with a focus on Amapiano, a genre that’s taken the world by storm.
Fans can explore the fresh twist it brings to classic House and Dance music through two chart-topping singles: DBN Gogo’s “Touched the Sky” and Major League DJz’s “Most Precious Love.”
“The Warner Music Sound Tour is more than just music, it’s a movement,”
said Eric Gyimah, PR & Communications Lead at WMA.
“We’re connecting African artists with a global audience and allowing music lovers to discover the unique sounds of Afrobeat and Amapiano.”
The tour takes place across various digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Spotify. Listeners can follow the “click-to-listen” call to action and immerse themselves in a diverse soundscape that transcends genres and eras.

This initiative marks a powerful collaboration between two global brands, showcasing the brilliance of Amapiano on the world stage.
“Music transcends boundaries; it’s a language that few perform but everyone understands,”
Gyimah added.
“Hunter’s, known for enhancing the music experience in South Africa, is a fantastic partner for Warner Music Africa in this endeavor.”
Launched on October 4th, the campaign invites music lovers worldwide to join the Sound Tour. DBN Gogo’s “Touched the Sky” is currently sitting at #45 on the Apple Music Top Albums chart, further amplifying the excitement.
