Apple Music just announced that Afro House singer-songwriter and producer, Miči, is the next cover star for their Isgubhu playlist.
“I’m so grateful for this opportunity to share my favorite tracks,”
Miči told Apple Music.
“Some of these songs are old, some are new, but all of them are classics to me. I hope more people discover this incredible scene we’re part of!”
Born in Zimbabwe and raised in London, Miči’s musical journey began as a child singing in church.
Her passion for music grew during her teens when she learned to play guitar and piano. Over the years, Miči developed a unique ability to visualize and hear musical arrangements in her mind, giving her a distinct edge in the music industry.

After collaborating with renowned South African DJs and producers like Sun-el Musician, Lemon & Herb, TekniQ, Kid Fonque, and China Charmeleon, Miči’s impact on the SA house scene became undeniable in 2021.
Drawing inspiration from multiple genres such as jazz, neo-soul, gospel, indie, and folk music, she has carved out a distinctive niche for herself.
Her latest album, “feelings” (2024), available to stream on Apple Music, is a collection of deeply resonating Afro-house songs featuring heavyweight producers Da Capo and Kayrendasoul, as well as Frigid Armadillo, Mpho.Wav, and others.
To celebrate her feature, Miči has curated an exclusive Isgubhu playlist featuring iconic Afro-house mavens like Prince Kaybee, Sun-el Musician, Mobi Dixon, and many more DJs and producers.
