Limpopo-born music sensation, Makhadzi, has officially released her highly anticipated new album, “Miracle Child.” The album launch was celebrated with a star-studded listening session at the Tempo venue in Sunninghill, Johannesburg.
The event was graced by a host of notable figures in the South African music industry, including Master KG, Nkosazana Daughter, and other artists featured on the project. The venue was packed with industry peers, media representatives, and influencers like Cyan Boujee.
In an interview, Makhadzi revealed the inspiration behind the album’s title, “Miracle Child.” She explained that the name reflects the numerous challenges she has overcome in her life, considering herself a survivor of miracles.
The singer also discussed her recent viral social media stunt, where she posted a photo of herself with a beard. She explained that her background in public relations allowed her to strategically create buzz and trend online.
Makhadzi has been making waves both locally and internationally, selling out venues in various countries. She attributed her success to her unique sound and captivating stage performances.
The singer proudly sings in her native language, Tshivenda, demonstrating that language is not a barrier to achieving global recognition.
Growing up, Makhadzi was inspired by African music legends like Oliver Mtukudzi, Jah Prayzah, Yemi Alade, Diamond Platnumz, and the Venda artist Zozo.
