Chronical Deep shows support for Dark Horse
South African deep house producer Chronical Deep attended a dinner celebrating fellow producer Dark Horse’s album release, saying he was pleased to support the project. Reflecting on their relationship, he revealed that they first met at one of Dark Horse’s shows in Cape Town before eventually collaborating and building a lasting working relationship.
‘H.O.P.E‘ marks his biggest project yet
The producer described H.O.P.E as a 30-track album featuring collaborations with several established artists. He said the project is deeply emotional while showcasing a range of musical styles, including deep house, Afro house and piano music.
“It’s a very emotional album,” he said, adding that the project represents a broader musical direction than his previous EP releases.
40 remixes already in the works
Chronical Deep confirmed that H.O.P.E is only the beginning of a much bigger rollout. He revealed that he is already working on remix versions of songs from both H.O.P.E and his previous album, Light.
According to the producer, fans can expect around 40 remixes, promising what he described as an “epic” follow-up to the original releases.
‘I’m in a state of happiness now’
The producer opened up about his personal growth, saying his latest work reflects a happier chapter in his life. He acknowledged that his earlier music carried a darker and more emotional tone, but said his current success and the support he has received from fans have transformed his outlook.
“I’m in a state of happiness now,” he said, explaining that he no longer feels isolated and is now surrounded by people who support his journey.
Five music videos and new collaborations on the way
Looking ahead, Chronical Deep said fans can expect five music videos from H.O.P.E, several new DJ mixes and fresh collaborations with Oscillo.
He described the upcoming releases as another exciting phase of his career.
“It’s going to be epic,” he said.
Flying the Free State flag high
Speaking about the response from his home province, the Free State, Chronical Deep said locals have embraced his success and believe he is raising the province’s profile through his music.
“The flag is high now,” he said, adding that he hopes others from the province will continue pushing the Free State flag even higher, while acknowledging that following in his footsteps will be no easy task.

The producer encouraged fans to follow him on social media under Chronicle Deep Official, revealing that he has recently started enjoying creating content on TikTok as he continues to expand his online presence.
