Oskido’s BIG DAY OUT has announced its full artist lineup for its return to Huddle Park in Linksfield, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 28 November 2026, bringing together leading names in kwaito, house and South African dance music.
This year’s festival will feature two stages, with a new platform dedicated to deep and soulful house joining the Main Stage. Organisers have also confirmed a partnership with Kaya959 as the event prepares to celebrate the music and artists that have shaped generations.
Kwaito and House Legends Lead the Main Stage
The Main Stage lineup features B.O.P, Mdu, Liquideep, Trompies, Oskido, DJ Cleo, Glen Lewis, DJ Fresh, DJ Mbuso, DJ Ganyani, Nokwazi, Durban’s Finest, DJ Cndo and DJs at Work.
Curated by Oskido, the programme brings together performers associated with some of the country’s most enduring kwaito and house anthems. Audiences can expect a celebration spanning the rhythms that helped define kwaito’s rise and the soulful sounds that remain central to South African dance floors.
The gathering places the country’s musical heritage at the heart of the festival, giving fans an opportunity to reconnect with familiar favourites in a live setting.

New Namba Stage Celebrates Deep and Soulful House
A new addition to this year’s event is the Namba Stage, which will offer a dedicated space for deep and soulful house.
Its lineup includes Sir LSG & DJ SoulDiva, Dark Horse, D’General, Mr Shane, Chymamusique, Sculptured Music and Bobsta B2B Sabz.
Designed to complement the Main Stage, the new platform expands the festival’s musical offering while recognising the depth of South Africa’s house music culture.
Kaya959 Joins as a Media Partner
BIG DAY OUT has also announced a formal partnership with Kaya959, bringing together the radio station and a festival built around a shared appreciation for music, culture and community.
The collaboration aims to broaden the event’s reach and connect audiences with the artists and sounds at the centre of the celebration.
“For Kaya959, Oskido’s Big Day out and our partnership represent more than entertainment but rather the value of creativity, culture-framing and time,” said Tumi Rabanye of Kaya959’s marketing team.
“We believe great positive impact and fun needn’t be mutually exclusive and as a culture brand ourselves, there’s no time like the present to show up.”

A Celebration of Oskido’s Contribution
According to the event announcement, this year’s edition will also celebrate Oskido’s recognition with the Order of Ikhamanga, awarded by the Presidency in 2026 for his contribution to South African music and culture.
That recognition adds significance to a festival curated by an artist whose work as a DJ, producer and cultural pioneer has influenced generations of performers and music lovers.
With its mix of established acts and a dedicated house stage, BIG DAY OUT will bring different chapters of South African dance music together in one setting.
