South African DJ and producer Mr JazziQ has released Coolest in the City, an 11-track Amapiano album that brings his collaborators and the culture surrounding his music into focus.
Released on 3 November 2026 under an exclusive licence to ONErpm, the project runs for approximately 70 minutes.
A Reflection of His World
The album’s concept draws on township life, fashion and the social spaces that inspire Mr JazziQ. In comments accompanying the release, he describes its connection to his own experiences.
“It’s about representing a lifestyle and a culture that I am part of,” he says.
That idea extends to his intended audience: people listening with friends, travelling or gathering on a dancefloor.

Collaboration Takes Centre Stage
The guest list includes thesiix, Don Deeya, A.W.O, Young Mafia, Shazz RSA, Magwe ZA, Lemaza, Freddy K, De Rose, Shoes Meister, LoidZa and Ntandokazi M.
Several names recur across the tracklist. Mr JazziQ and thesiix open the project with “Nostalgia”, while “Circle Bigger” brings Magwe ZA and Lemaza together with Don Deeya and thesiix. These repeated collaborations give listeners a route into the wider creative circle behind the album.
“Wozo’bona” Leads the Release
Following the earlier single “Katalia”, the current focus track, “Wozo’bona”, features Young Mafia, Don Deeya and A.W.O alongside Mr JazziQ and thesiix.
The album also follows a productive stretch for the producer, with 0303 arriving in March and Stance Social following in October. Discussing the new project on social media, Mr JazziQ described it as the most enjoyable recording experience of his career, according to The Yanos.
