South African vocalists Zanda Zakuza, Minnie Ntuli, Thabiso Mahlalempini and Zola Mhlongo recently did a beautiful cover of a song by UPZ called Pure Surprise.
The four singers uploaded the video on Instagram as they were all seated at Prince Kaybee’s house who happens to be on keys.
Pure Surprise is the debut single by UPZ first released in 2007 which emerged from the underground to great commercial success in South Africa in 2009 & 2010 and currently considered an SA house classic.
UPZ real name Avi Elman shocked many of his fans when he announced his retirement from the music industry in 2019.
The single Pure Surprise that appeared on Lulo Cafe’s 2009 compilation, went on to become a nationwide fan favorite & featured on over 16 compilations and number one nationally on SA radio.
