There have been rumours flying around that the Gqom music duo from Durban, Distruction Boyz have broken up.
The rumours were sparked by news of one member Goldmax releasing a single titled “iphuholami” as a solo artist featuring Skyewanda and Masunda.
Distruction Boyz is a duo made up of Thobani “Que” Mgobhozi and Zipho “Goldmax” Mthembu.
Their Debut album Gqom Is the Future was certified gold by RISA making it the first Gqom album to ever achieve this status.
Mgobhozi and Mthembu set the record straight as they address this issue on a video they posted on social media.
