American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, record executive, entrepreneur, and actor Diddy is a big Kabza De Small fan.
Diddy posted this video on his Instagram page sending out positive vibes to the world while Kabza’s ‘Mapiano Blues’ was playing in the background.
The track featuring Howard and XolaniGuitars is on I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet & Dust album which dropped in 2020.
When the album came out, in just two weeks, 26 tracks from the project all made the top 30 chart, with numbers recording 8 million streams on digital platforms (not including YouTube and mobile ringback/caller tunes) something that has never been seen in South African music history.
Evidently the music reached Sean John Combs who is also known by the stage names Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Puffy, or Diddy, an icon in African-American urban culture.
Diddy used Kabza’s song to advertise Ciroc vodka.
