‘Somandla’ captures the golden hour atmosphere through the combination of deejay Lepara featuring King JS with the final touch on production from music producer Tonik.
Lepara (Dineo Moumakoe) says she had a number songs to choose from her recent EP: Exklusiv Hun.
She believes the single Somandla is a song people can relate with,
“Somandla is a prayer to God asking Him to answer our prayers during this period, it is relatable because of so many of us are going through the similar problems whether financially, family or mental state”.
“That’s how we came about the song, we wanted something like a spiritual song which can touch people’s hearts on the dance floor, something that can give hope and encouragement that you’re not alone – the problems you have can only make you stronger.”
