It has been just over a year since house music singer Holly Rey became the first woman to take home the SAMA ‘Record of the Year’ award in 20 Years when her hit song ‘Deeper’ was named the winner of the highly-coveted category at the 25th annual South African Music Awards at Sun City in 2019.
