Acclaimed South African artist Busiswa hosted a series of Live IG conversations this past week leading to the screening of Black is King, in which she is featured.
Black is King, which is a visual album by Beyonce, screened on M-NET this past Saturday night and trended on social media.
Filmed in various locations, the film’s cinematography captures beautiful people and landscapes across continents, starting in New York, then Los Angeles, South Africa, West Africa, London and Belgium.
Among the well-known Mzansi stars featured in Black Is King are Connie Chiume (Gomora), Nandi Madida (The Road), Nyaniso Dzedze (Binnelanders) and Warren Masemola (The River).
Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly appeared alongside Beyonce on their hit song MY POWER featuring Tierra Whack and Nija.
