SAMA nominated music producer, mix engineer and club DJ, Cuebur, celebrates heritage month by paying tribute Solomon Linda by remaking his classic song – Mbube.
Solomon Popoli Linda, also known as Solomon Ntsele, was a South African musician, singer and composer best known as the composer of the song “Mbube”, which later became a world-wide success but he unfortunately died broke.
“With the help of M.O.T.I, myself, BokkieUlt and the Mahotella Queens came together and worked on the song ‘Mbube 2020’ as a tribute to SOLOMON LINDA and his family. The family have been given 45% (Forty Five Percent) of the copyright” Says Cuebur.
“It’s a great honor to be part of this initiative and having to work with the legendary Mahotella Queens” He adds.
