Talented vocalist Pixie L is hoping her latest project “Emazulwini” will land her a permanent spot in the music scene.
The track by music DJ and producer Bob Ezy is set for release on his new EP the MP Deluxe. “Emazulwini is an appreciation song and it is not personal.
I feel that people should celebrate love all the time because it is a beautiful thing”, Known for her melodious voice and captivating lyrics, she is optimistic that her melodic voice, which is already hitting the airwaves soon will help cement her brand within the industry.
Born Faith Mabena in Pretoria, the 27-year-old is the voice behind the first two tracks of Agora album by internationally acclaimed DJ Caiiro.
“Caiiro approached me to work on just one track “Thanda” which is not just a love song but a story of a victim turned into survivor and met someone who made them believe in love again”.
She says.
Another track on the album “Entabeni” is a spiritual song that is part of her spiritual journey and a prayer to her struggles. Currently the singer is promoting her latest work with Bob Ezy.
The two have previously worked on “Amen” and “Be There” which are also doing well. She has previously worked with Afro Brotherz, Questo and the Josh, Caiiro to name a few.
Her future plans include releasing her own album.
