Musician 20-year-old disk jockey Judy Mahlatji known as “Judy Jay ” was born and bred in Tjetane, a small village in Sekhukhune Limpopo.
Her love for music has always been a residence in her heart, not only does she spin and turntables, but Judy is also an instrument player.
She plays the likes of bass, percussion and guitar. She has made herself a name after winning the Diesel Denim Friday Competition and was labelled as one of the country’s best up-and-coming DJs.
On this interview she chats about her journey and some of the challenges she faces on a day to day basis.
