Zakes Bantwini relaunches Cape Town nightspot Studio

Zakes Bantwini is capping off the most incredible year of his storied career in style.

Since winning two South African Music Awards (SAMAs) in September, the veteran dance DJ and producer was recently nominated for a Grammy award for “Bayethe”, his stellar collaboration with South African flautist and producer Wouter Kellerman and “Jerusalema” star Nomcebo Zikode.

Never one to take his foot off the pedal, Zakes has now relaunched Studio, his new lifestyle venue located at the world-famous luxury Cape Town hotel, The Rockefeller.

Studio is a lifestyle venue that speaks to an audience of over 23’s that are upwardly mobile young professionals and revellers that enjoy well curated lifestyle experiences.

Guests in attendance at the star-studded launch last Sunday included the likes of Shekhinah, Nandi Madida, Khaya Dlanga and Barbielicious.
