Nigerian singer, songwriter and record executive Mr Eazi, is currently working on an Amapiano album which is due to drop sometime in May 2023.
We caught up with Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, at an intimate event he hosted titled “A Night of Great Whisky with Mr Eazi” at The Melrose Gallery in Joburg.
Speaking to us at the star studded event, Mr Eazi says that he has big South African features on his Amapiano album such as the likes of Focalistic, Nkosazana Daughter and many more amazing artists.
He is the pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.
