The super talented Angolan American rapper, Tiger Kwanzambi, who goes by the stage name Tiger BMT has a musical Pan-African dream and he starts his journey by visiting South Africa.
Tiger BMT who just released an ear grabbing hip hop anthem titled “Come Outside”, is set to embark on a Mzansi tour in December 2023 to connect with his fans on the south side of the African continent.
Tiger has over the past couple of years worked hard on building a rap career in America, he has built a solid fan base in the states, and he is now venturing into making a mark in his home continent.
His dream is to collaborate with African giants such as Davido, Burna Boy, Wiz Kid as well as Diamond Platinumz.
Growing up in Angola, Tiger BMT was a naughty child who did crazy things as a teenager such as gangsterism, smoking and drinking alcohol but music saved his life.
“Music has always been a part of me since I was a kid because my dad was a music teacher” says Tiger BMT.
Tiger BMT eventually moved to live in America when he was a kid and that’s when the music bug really bit him, “In the beginning of my career my dad didn’t really approve of the music thing, especially hip hop because it has a lot of negative connotations” he adds.
His dad later realised that hip hop is exactly what Tiger needed as he stopped being mischievous, “I proved him wrong by being a sober rapper, I don’t smoke, I just drink a little bit and I have never been arrested or got caught doing anything crazy here in America, so I turned out to be a good boy” he says laughing.
He has a vision to take his music and brand to the top as he would eventually love to travel the world.
“My message is to let people know that I have been putting in a lot of work for too long and it’s my time to shine and elevate, I believe that I am the next big thing, and I can’t wait to start spreading love and my music in South Africa” says Tiger BMT.
