South African Music Awards nominated DJ & Producer, Mr Thela, is teaming up with Hollywood Foundation for a Back to School initiative.
The HB foundation initiative has pledged R8 million rands in support of parents and in aid of empowering learners with essential school supplies.
Mr Thela has nominated a school in Samora Machel, Phillipi, Cape Town – where he grew up, to be a beneficiary of this initiative in aid of giving back to his community.
This year’s campaign launch holds significance as it features collaborations with influential personalities and organisations that share the Hollywood Foundation’s vision.
To aid in school selection, lknmthe Hollywood Foundation has partnered with Hollywoodbets Brand Ambassadors; non-profit organisations; sports clubs; renowned personalities, including musicians Khuli Chana; Big Zulu & Sjava; Mr Thela; Rugby player Makazole Mampimpi, and main stream and community radio stations.
In an effort to expand the campaign’s impact, Hollywoodbets’ 97 retail branches nationwide will actively contribute to making a positive difference in the lives of learners, particularly in areas of their operation.
