Born Thuthuka Zindlovu, Dlala Thukzin’s journey into music began at a tender age, inspired by his uncle who mentored him in the art of DJing. By the age of 12, he was already making waves at local Durban clubs like Havana Music Café and Joe Cools, where he began to forge connections that would shape his musical career.
Thukzin’s breakthrough came when he collaborated with West Ink Records on Babes Wodumo’s debut studio album, a project that propelled him into the spotlight.
Building on this success, in 2020 he released his own label EP titled “Permanent Music.” Featuring collaborations with industry heavyweights like DJ Tira, Joocy, and GoldMax of Distruction Boyz fame, the EP garnered over 2 million streams, earning Thukzin a coveted gold plaque.
Now, poised to take America by storm, Dlala Thukzin is set to kick off his US tour on June 22nd at Shisanyama USA in Linden, NJ.
The tour will continue on June 23rd at Amapiano DMV in Washington DC, followed by appearances at Afrohouse Sunsets in Houston, TX on June 28th, and concluding at Bhovy Bezent in Dallas, TX on June 30th.
