South African DJ and producer Thabo Mahundla, known professionally as AirBurn Sounds, is set to make waves with his eagerly anticipated new single, “Parmalaat,” featuring the talented OHP Sage.
Slated for release on Friday, August 30, the track promises to be a vibrant tribute to women worldwide, coinciding with the close of Women’s Month.

The title is a creative nod to the popular dairy brand Parmalat, playfully reimagined as a compliment for a beautiful woman, inspired by South African slang.
“The song is coming out on the last day of Women’s Month and is a fun, upbeat Amapiano and dance song relatable for everyone,”
AirBurn Sounds explains.
“It’s a lighthearted ode to all the beautiful women out there, something to play while cruising with friends or enjoying a sunny day.”

In addition to the single’s release, AirBurn Sounds has secured a significant deal with Cre8ive Tribe, a US/Jamaican company. This partnership marks a major milestone in his career, following his previous associations with labels such as Open Mic Productions and Makhates Productions.
“This deal has been a long time coming,”
AirBurn Sounds says.
“It’s something we’ve been discussing for years. I’ve been with other labels before, but this opportunity feels right. They will be releasing my full EP, and I’m excited about the prospects in the US and the UK.”
