Amapiano producer Frank Mabeat just released his single “Izethembiso,” featuring the talented musician Eemoh, known for his hit “iMpumelelo.”
Frank Ngwenya, better known as Frank Mabeat, has quickly made a name for himself in the South African music scene. Originally from Pienaar, Mpumalanga, Mabeat embarked on his musical journey as a teenager.
His breakthrough came through collaborations with Soa Family, a collective founded by Soa Matrrix, the mastermind behind the hit “Mina Nawe.” Since then, Mabeat’s passion and talent have propelled him into the global music arena.
“Izethembiso” is a love song that explores the promise of a brighter future with a partner, blending emotions of joy, uncertainty, excitement, and hope.
Mabeat reflects on the inspiration behind the track:
“When I created the beat for ‘Izethembiso,’ it found me at a time where I was going through the most and needed hope. I channeled my feelings into the music,”
he shared.
Known for his poignant storytelling, Mabeat often draws from real-life experiences in South Africa’s black communities and the broader African diaspora. His beats evoke spiritual themes while tackling issues such as love, ambition, and grief.
Mabeat’s dedication to his craft is evident, with recent accolades including a remix of Usher’s official track “Ruin.”
His growing list of collaborations features artists like Oscar Mbo, Dinky Kunene, Russell Zuma, Murumba Pitch, and Sir Trill, solidifying his status as a rising star in the music industry.
With “Izethembiso,” Mabeat aims to captivate South African hearts once again. Featuring Eemoh’s soulful vocals alongside Mabeat’s signature bouncy beats, the single is poised to become a fan favorite.
