South African deep house producer and DJ, KVRVBO (pronounced Karabo), has just announced the release of his highly anticipated EP, We Rise Again.
Set to drop soon on Groove On Recordings, the project is poised to be another stellar addition to the artist’s growing catalog of rich, emotive house music.
Born and raised in Duduza, a township east of Johannesburg, KVRVBO has long been celebrated for blending the nostalgic essence of classic house with a modern, experimental edge.
His musical journey has been marked by a string of notable releases, including Antares and Le Fleur (Remixes) in 2022, Euphoria in 2021, and Papino’s Revenge Remixes EP in 2024.

KVRVBO first turned heads with his early projects, Plutonix Dreams (2018) and Dublin Express (2020), which were released under Kid Fonque’s acclaimed Stay True Sounds label.
These EPs showcased his ability to create atmospheric soundscapes while remaining deeply rooted in house music tradition.
Euphoria, one of his most celebrated works, brought together a host of collaborators including Jus Tadi, Simbad, Avi Subban, Rephlex, and Billowjazz, along with vocal contributions from Tahir Jones and Bongani Mehlomakhulu.
Each track was a testament to his versatility, delivering hard-hitting kicks, punchy basslines, and a raw emotional depth that resonated with fans and critics alike.
With We Rise Again, KVRVBO is expected to delve deeper into his artistic evolution, promising a body of work that reflects resilience, growth, and innovation.
Fans of deep house worldwide are eagerly awaiting the project’s release, anticipating yet another masterclass from one of South Africa’s most compelling electronic music talents.
