Meet the Men Behind the Music
Artwork Sounds is made up of George Lesley and Soultronixx (Rofhiwa Ndou) — two prolific talents who bring a deep, soulful energy to South Africa’s house music scene.
- George Lesley, a bassist, DJ, and producer from Sebokeng in the Vaal, began his music journey playing keyboard in church. Today, he’s also the full-time bassist for Mafikizolo and has contributed as a session musician to acts like Vusi Nova, Nathi Mankayi, and Donald.
- Soultronixx, originally from Venda, launched his music career in Johannesburg, eventually working with international producers like N’Dinga Gaba, Maurice Eclectic, Doug Gomez, and DJ Pope.
Their creative paths crossed in Johannesburg, and they decided to join forces — a collaboration that has since become a staple in the soulful and deep house genre.
