A groundbreaking collaboration between British electronic music legend Charles Webster and South African deep house maestro China Charmeleon has just been released. Titled “Many Blessings,” the track features powerful vocals from rising South African singer Girly Mbambani, offering a richly layered listening experience that bridges continents and musical cultures.

“Many Blessings” blends South African rhythm with European deep house textures, creating a sonic tapestry that is both emotive and immersive. It’s a track that doesn’t just play—it lingers, thanks to its soulful instrumentation and haunting vocal delivery.

“Collaborating with talented musicians and vocalists truly makes the whole process a delight,” says Charles Webster, whose deep, soulful productions have influenced global house music for decades.

The track was recorded at Johannesburg’s iconic Flame Studios, located at Constitution Hill, a site steeped in South African history. It’s part of Webster’s upcoming project “Charles Webster And The South African Connection – From The Hill,” which celebrates the country’s vibrant dance music culture.

A Meeting of Icons

China Charmeleon, born Siphamandla Innocent Nene, is one of South Africa’s most influential new-generation producers.
