“I started making the beat for Woza while doing some b2b sets with Thakzin late last year,”
says DJ Lag.
“I was imagining my version of the 3-Step sound while also drawing from Afro-Tech tracks I’ve been spinning live. Once Sir Trill and Sykes added vocals, it all came together – it felt like something brand new, but still very me.”
