Who Is Riky Lenyora?
Describing himself as a “simple, chill person,” Lenyora embraces his role as a people’s artist.
“I’m a people’s person… an outdoor person, easy to talk to,”
he said. His grounded personality has helped him connect authentically with fans while staying true to his roots.
The Making of Malacosta
One of Lenyora’s most notable recent releases is Malacosta, dropped on August 8, 2025, featuring Vulela Maweekend, Mark Khoza, Angeke Babuye, and MC Mlu. Speaking about the track’s origins, he revealed it was inspired by a street chant.
“There’s this chant going in the streets, ‘Hey, Malacosta”
he explained. “We decided to try it, vibe with it, and it came together with Mlu, and the gents. The energy was hot, and Vulela Maweekend brought the vibe.”
What’s Next for Riky Lenyora?
Fans can expect more music on the horizon.
“Definitely, definitely there’s more music I’m going to drop,”
he confirmed, hinting at both an EP and fresh singles, including a collaboration with Makozo, Mlu, and Zuma. He also emphasized his commitment to uplifting new talent:
“I’m bringing upcoming artists as well, to give them the platform.”
Giving Back to the Community
Beyond music, Lenyora is planning to host an event for his hometown, Ndofaya.
“I’m trying to drop an event there, giving back to the community. There’s nothing that side, so hopefully, I’ll announce it soon,”
he said.
A Message for the Youth
