Nota Baloyi has broken his silence on recent tensions involving fellow media personality Leehleza, while also reaffirming that his move within a growing podcast network has been years in the making.
In a candid on-camera exchange, Nota spoke about both the evolution of his show and his response to comments suggesting Leehleza had threatened to confront him physically.
“It Was Always in the Making”
When asked how it feels to officially be part of the podcast network — and whether the move was strategic or organic — Nota made it clear that nothing about the development was rushed.
“It started right at the beginning… it just needed the right show.”
He explained that the concept had been brewing for years, with the team carefully designing a format that would resonate long-term. Instead of launching a brand-new production, they chose to build on an existing show that had already proven its impact.

“We’ve actually got a show that works… Why invent a whole new show and try to curate a whole new audience? Let’s just grow this one.”

The tone shifted when Nota was asked about claims that Leehleza had allegedly said he would “put hands on” him if they crossed paths.
Rather than escalating the situation, Nota dismissed the remarks and responded with sarcasm, suggesting that the focus should be on personal health and self-improvement rather than confrontation.
He avoided directly fuelling the tension, ultimately closing the exchange with a calm “It’s all love,” signalling that he was not interested in turning the dispute into a public feud.
