South African producer Da Africa Deep is set to release his new album, Love Your Life, through Mayonie Productions on 28 October 2026, bringing together nine tracks shaped by reflection, healing and the emotional depth of Afro house.
Born Teleki Wilfred Mphahlele, the producer has steadily built a following with music that draws on jazz, gospel and the rhythmic traditions of home. His influences span generations, from Hugh Masekela to Black Coffee, informing a sound that connects musical heritage with contemporary dance floors.
With Love Your Life, Da Africa Deep turns that perspective inward. He describes the album as being about “seeing the beauty in all the bad and good things that have happened in my life”, with the intention of “bringing peace and joy.”
The project follows growing international recognition through tracks such as “Feel The Love” and “Were We Belong”, collaborations with Da Capo and Zakes Bantwini, and extensive touring across Europe and Africa.
On the forthcoming album, vocal collaborations play a central role in translating its themes. Opening track “Azania”, featuring Mici, introduces the record through a gentle, dub-influenced pulse, airy chords and soft vocals. “My Side”, with Lyrik Shoxen, continues that intimate approach, pairing swung percussion and delicate keys with a vocal performance that moves from pain towards empowerment.
Da Africa Deep also contributes his remix of Darkstate and Clara Pople’s “Rest My Hands”, placing its soaring vocal over a warm broken beat and rising arpeggios.
The collaborative thread continues on “ ndzi ta hlula”, credited in the tracklist as “Ndzi ta hlula”, with Sky White and Nyeleti, while Jordan Arts joins him on “Need To Know pt.2”, a hypnotic track built around shimmering keys and a smouldering vocal.
Sky White returns for “Dreams”, where expansive vocals meet flowing melodies and light percussion. Two solo productions, “Feel Good” and “Escape Reality”, then give Da Africa Deep room to develop the album’s warmer, more meditative textures through layered chords and glistening pads.
Closing track “Nobody”, featuring Biishop, brings the project to a quiet, reflective finish, reinforcing the sense of spiritual and emotional exploration running through the record.
Across its nine tracks, Love Your Life presents a personal statement from a producer whose music continues to reach beyond South Africa, while remaining connected to the sounds and experiences that shaped him.
