South African performing artist and songwriter Sizwe Zulu popularly known by his fans as Mzulu Kakhulu started honing his music craft at an early age.
He kicked started his music career as a Hip-Hop musician, but it wasn’t until 2021 that he has his major industry breakthrough with his Amapiano debut alongside renowned producers and DJs MFR Souls on the single ‘Abahambayo’ which is regarded as a commercial success.
He then went on to collaborate with Khobzin Kiavalla on ‘Amakhanda Agxanhayo’ which was his debut single as an independent Amapiano recording artist and then with Gaba Cannal on ‘Gibela’.

The multi-faceted artist is back with his third studio single titled ‘Gida’ featuring Khobzin Kiavalla and Drillvr SA.
Gida comes from and translates to the traditional Zulu dance ukugida also known as the dance of happiness and celebration in the Zulu culture.
GIDA is a fusion of traditional music, Amapiano and barcadi, creating a unique sound that Mzulu will be identified for amongst his many talents.
Mzulu Kakhulu refers to his sound as ‘SkandiYano’. This banger also caters to a wide audience of music lovers. The song is fun-filled and guarantee to keep you glued to the dancefloor.
Mzulu Kakhulu has proven his consistency, ‘Gida’ is dropping on Friday the 24th of March and the official music video for is rumoured to drop soon.
