We had a live Instagram interview with the iconic South African house music vocalist who goes by the stage name Genevive. She is the voice you might remember from house classics like Giggs Superstars’ 2010, “I Don’t Care” which still enjoys a lot of love from DJs and audiences across the globe to this day.
If you are not familiar with that tune then you might have heard Genevive on her first single, Desire which featured on legendary DJ Ganyani’s, ‘Ganyani 6’ compilation.
Her return also marks the start of her venture into a new sound with this being her first Amapiano single titled Take Me, produced by Picasso and featuring additional vocals from rapper, Dre.
