SAMA nominated singer and songwriter, Mlindo the Vocalist, dropped his highly anticipated album, ‘LINDOKUHLE’ which peaked at number three on the Apple Music (all genres) chart and has maintained the number four position.
The hashtag, #Lindokuhle trended at number one on Friday and continued to trend throughout the weekend with fans expressing how happy they were that he finally released the project.
He performed his album on Metro FM’s Midday Link Up with Lerato Kganyago and Proverb before his media launch in the evening where he brought the house down with his live performance. Mlindo’s fans took to social media to praise the album.
Mlindo the Vocalist’s ‘LINDOKUHLE’ is a masterclass in concise song writing and delivery.
“I started working on the album during lockdown. We had no idea when it would end, so I spent that time recording music for myself in my hometown. Most of it was recorded then, but by the time I finished it, the country was open,”
shares Mlindo. The result is an album that’s equal parts triumph and tribulation.
