After pioneering a generation of Afro House, Mobi Dixon merges his signature Tribal Soul sound with synthetic elements synonymous with the international dance scene.

With influences of electro and a foundation of Afro Tech, Mobi-Tek musically expresses the sound that Mobi Dixon is known for behind the decks. Heavy yet minimal grooves, stabbing baselines and futuristic melodies are the DNA of this album series.

Volume 1 offers 10 uniquely crafted anthems as Mobi’s perspective of Afro-Tech. The Afro-House influence comes across in the vocal and melodic structure with features ranging from young amapiano artists to industry veterans.

The likes of Lady Du, Digital Sangoma, NaakMusiq, Mafikizolo, Soulful G and Babalwa M gives the body of work that richness sound makes it stand out from any ordinary Afro-Tech.

This is the perfect intro to better explain the journey through musical metaphors and African authenticity, accompanied by the incredible praises from Lady Du.

Let it go featuring the vocalist Omphile and is an all-round feel good song, vocalised through a plea that every now and then one must put everything aside and let music take control feel so you can feel it in your heart & enjoy the moment.

Trust the DJ is the last song on the album and Mobi made sure the instruments on this song bring a different new sound to the ear featuring the modern-day house music sound.
