Mobi bagged a SAMA award of the Best Produced Music Video When House Was House which have been charting for eight months straight.
He gave us a taste of his upcoming album with singles titled Banike Feat Mafikizolo and Matasa Feat NaakMusiQ & CandyMan. Banike has also been starting to be on the charts since it was released.
After pioneering a generation of Afro House, Mobi Dixon merges his signature Tribal Soul sound with synthetic elements synonymous with the international dance scene.
With influences of electro and a foundation of Afro Tech, Mobi-Tek musically expresses the sound that Mobi Dixon is known for behind the decks. Heavy yet minimal grooves, stabbing baselines and futuristic melodies are the DNA of this album series. Volume 1 offers 10 uniquely crafted anthems as Mobi’s perspective of Afro-Tech.
The Afro-House influence comes across in the vocal and melodic structure with features ranging from young Amapiano artists to industry veterans.
