Tumisang Kekana, professionally known as Laud was born in Hammanskral. Laud was a timid & quiet child growing up but has forever had a love for music.
During his high school days, Laud started his music career producing deep-house, then transitioned to making Hip Hop beats, and eventually moved to produce Amapiano music in 2020.
Mid 2020 Laud met Visca who later introduced him to DJ Maphorisa and that was the beginning for Laud.
In 2020, he released Kubi, followed by a single titled 4 in 2022, which was his official introduction and throw forward to his first album.
Having gained recognition through collaborations with renowned producers, vocalists, and deejays, Laud has had the opportunity to work with Murumba Pitch, Mkeys, Shasha, Mashudu, Bassie, Ntokzin, and MFR Souls.
He later released his long-awaited music project titled “REARABETSWE”, a massive release from him with seventeen solid tracks coupled with A-list featured artists such as Luu Nineleven, The Majestiez, Njelic, and others.
Laud has definitely been putting in a lot of work and is set to become a household name as he continues to make the biggest waves and hits in the South African music industry!
He returns with his latest project, a 3-way EP titled “The Book of Numbers”. A project he says is meant to show how much he wants to be close to his listeners and give them a vast experience of his production in all respects.
The 3-way EP consists of 15 songs divided into 3 EPs, which will have 5 songs each, showcasing his production versatility. It includes both instrumental and vocal songs.
