Tyler ICU, the dynamic and innovative force in the Amapiano scene, is set to release a new single titled “Manzi Nte” in collaboration with DJ Maphorisa.
The track, featuring an array of talented artists including Masterpiece YVK, Ceeka RSA, M.J, Silas Africa, and Al Xapo, seems to be very interesting.
The announcement comes alongside the release of the artwork for “Manzi Nte,” which showcases Tyler ICU and his collaborators in a playful scene at a car wash.
In the artwork, Tyler ICU is seen holding a water gun, surrounded by hot girls in bikinis, while Masterpiece YVK playfully sprays water with a hose pipe. The imagery reflects the essence of the track – fun, carefree, and full of naughty vibes.
Tyler ICU’s journey in music began in his hometown of Tembisa, Johannesburg, where he was heavily influenced by his DJ father and the vibrant music scene around him.
Rising from a teenage producer working out of his home, Tyler quickly gained recognition in the South African Hip-Hop scene before transitioning to Amapiano under the mentorship of DJ Maphorisa.
Since then, Tyler ICU has established himself as a household name in the Amapiano genre, with successful collaborations and chart-topping hits under his belt.
His breakout album “Money Heist” in 2020 catapulted him to fame, followed by projects like “Freddy vs Tyler” with Freddy K and the “Banyana” EP with DJ Maphorisa.
In 2023, Tyler ICU’s hit single “Mnike” became a global sensation, further solidifying his status as one of the leading figures in Amapiano music.
